Me and My Pet

When I brought my pet dog home, we were all very excited and christened him "Lytak". There was hitch inside me that I would give him a new environment all together so its my duty to give him that love and respect that a family member requires. There was one aspect that I could not imagine before bringing Lytak home. I had never thought that everyone would require an adjustment! My family had a hard time brining in a new member suddenly.

Even a baby waits for nine months before actually coming into the family. Though brining Lytak was a planned decision but it still did upset our family routine! With the changing seasons, especially with the extremes in India, there was an added caution factor! I do not say or mean to depict the problems of bringing a pet home. There are obviously many! But what I mean to imply here is, that when you bring a pet home, there will be problems, make a routine, make adjustments and then you will be blissfully blessed by a new family member.

I do not have any personal experience with cats but I also have a small aquarium in my office with ten different breeds of fishes. The only care involved with them is water change as and when required, a proper water filter, fish food and proper lightening in it. Fishes are the best pets where there no adjustment required, just a little space in your home or office and you're done! It can't get simpler than that, can it?
